As of 2004, PR has secured a face-to-face space at this leading global biotechnology forum. In this period of 20 years, we have achieved visibility for PR in all the singularities of this prestigious annual event of the biosciences. This position results in part from INDUNIV’s connection as an affiliate and representative of BIO in PR.
In our role, we support Invest PR and have a presence in the pavilion during the four days of the exhibits. Also, we manage the aspects of organizing the PR delegation, encouraging the partnering process and developing promotion of our industry inside and outside the dash-board of the pavilion in a consistent way. In these functions, we work hard to grow the network, develop collaborations, and identify prospects for bringing businesses to PR.
INDUNIV as PR representatives before the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) and affiliates of the Council of States Bioscience Associations, we promote the presence of our island in this international forum. Through this participation we have managed to ensure that the footprint of PR biotechnology figures prominently in all the spaces to which we have access before, during and after the event. During all these years, we have made sure that we are present in the various platforms and reports that are published biennially which are disseminated alternately during the BIO Convention: 1) TEConomy / BIO report on the Bioscience Economy; 2) Best Practices in Bioscience Economic Development Initiatives; 3) Life Sciences Workforce Trends Report; 4) a number of governors and secretaries have also been engaged in high-profile panels at the convention.
