INDUNIV Membership

A supportive community of partners in our life sciences ecosystem

Membership in INDUNIV is open to representatives of industry, academia and government. Joining is open to any organization or firm in the fields of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, health IT / digital health, bioscience supply chain, research institutes and related industries, as well as any private or public university in Puerto Rico. They can become a regular, dues-paying member. Government is represented through the Puerto Rico Department of Economic Development and Commerce (DDEC).

INDUNIV is an inclusive organization that seeks to incorporate and benefit representatives from these industrial and academic sectors with a demonstrated commitment to foster a solid academic-industry collaborative environment, one that is conducive to innovation in focused technologies.

At INDUNIV, we work with our members to provide a supportive community of partners in our life sciences ecosystem. Our members become an integral part of a dynamic community of companies and organizations doing business at all stages of commercialization. We build the commitment of supporting each other while allowing for the necessary connections for attaining success together and make PR stronger than ever.

Exclusively available to members, INDUNIV savings programs save PR’s bioscience organizations significant dollars cost reductions every year. Because INDUNIV is an affiliate of BIO, our members are eligible for selected BIO Business Solutions savings programs of vendors and service providers tailored to meet the needs of our life sciences organizations here in PR.

Government Affairs PR Focus: Support Educational Campaigns on behalf of public policy

It groups the government affairs representatives of our member companies in PIA and with the BIO Staff assigned to work within the States Government Relations Committee (SGRC).

INDUNIV works with local, state, and federal agencies, officials and representatives to promote PR’s bioscience industry. Members can engage in government relations through the BIO & PIA Government Affairs Group engaged in PR’s Advocacy & Public Policy , legislative-focused events, Federal Legislative Fly-ins, and roundtables with public officials.

INDUNIV serves as the PR’s affiliate of national industry groups Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO)
